FishTacoBlog.com is a new website with plans to review the best fish tacos in the nation. The starting cities will be New York and Seattle with plans to expand to other cities across the nation. Upstairs from the more formal Ray’s Boathouse is Ray’s Cafe, a fun bar-oriented version of its famous big brother. The restaurant is located in Ballard on Seaview, which is the road you’d take to get to Golden Gardens. Ray’s offers a diverse seafood oriented menu and the Cafe has its own deck which has 180 degree views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. The deck is worth the added wait. Continue Reading…

For those who couldn’t stick a pin in San Sebastian, let alone differentiate a San Sebastian and a Catalan style pintxo (itty-bittier tapas apparently), it is a Spanish town on the Atlantic, rather than the Mediterranean. Now, I’ve never been a big fan a karaoke. It seems when some people get a few drinks in them all of a sudden they think they can sing something Bon Jovi’s, “Dead or Alive” better than Bon Jovi.
